No Interest Health Care Loans

A marketing scheme that seems to have done well for cars has made its way into the health care industry.

The New York Times has the story of doctors and dentists arranging zero percent interest loans for patients having costly procedures done that their insurance doesn't cover.

Such loans, as it is with auto loans of this nature, are only offered to people with good credit. It is likely that these loans are of little use to people who cannot afford insurance in the first place.
