Bush Wants Troops In Iraq Indefinitely

Likening a future role for the U.S. military in Iraq to the ongoing mission in South Korea, that has lasted over 50 years, the Bush Administration envisions keeping troops in Iraq indefinitely.

This is in sharp contrast to efforts by Democrats and a growing number of Republicans to pull troops out of Iraq as soon as possible.

What can that man be thinking? If it isn't some kind of oil-related, neocon agenda, it must be insanity as this point. If Bush keeps forces in Iraq through the end of his term, the only Republicans left in Congress will be from gerrymandered districts.
